These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, including all services and functionalities provided therein. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

These conditions of use are likely to be modified or supplemented at any time, users of the website are therefore invited to consult them regularly.

This site is normally accessible to users at any time. An interruption due to technical maintenance may however be decided by Riverbank, who will then endeavour to communicate before users of the dates and times of the intervention.

 

Riverbank strives to provide information on the website that is as accurate as possible. However, it cannot be held responsible for omissions, inaccuracies and deficiencies in the update, whether by itself or by the third-party partners who provide it with this information.

All the information indicated on the website is given for information only, and is likely to evolve. Furthermore, the information appearing on the website is not exhaustive. They are given subject to modifications having been made since they were put online.

 

Description of the services provided.

The purpose of the website is to provide a platform for filmmakers across India and Southeast Asia to pitch their ideas for films. We shall select a certain number of entries solely on our own discretion for further consideration. By submitting a film idea, no intellectual property vesting in such ideas or materials submitted  to us is assigned to us and you shall retain all intellectual property in your submissions. 

By submitting a film idea, you represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights, permissions, and licenses to disclose and use the idea as described. 

In order to pitch a film idea on our website, you may be required to pay a registration fee. This fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee the acceptance or success of your pitch.

 

Registration

In order to access certain features of our website, such as pitching film ideas, you may be required to register an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

 

Contractual limitations on technical data

Riverbank cannot be held responsible for material damage related to the use of the site. Furthermore, the user of the site agrees to access the site using recent equipment, not containing viruses and with an updated next-generation browser.

Intellectual property and counterfeits

Riverbank owns the intellectual property rights or holds the usage rights to all elements accessible on the site, in particular texts, images, graphics, logos, icons, sounds, software.
Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, adaptation of all or part of the elements of the site, whatever the means or process of use, is prohibited, except with the prior written authorization of Riverbank.

Any unauthorized use of the site or the elements it contains will be considered as constituting of an infringement and actioned in accordance with the relevant provisions of law

Riverbank cannot be held liable for direct and indirect damage caused to the equipment of the user, when accessing the website.

Riverbank cannot also be held liable for consequential damages resulting from the use of the website.

Where appropriate, Riverbank reserves the right to put in question the civil and/or criminal liability of the user, in particular in the event of a message of a racist nature, abusive, defamatory, or pornographic, whatever the medium used (text, photography). While we do not have the obligation to police and monitor user comments, we reserve the right to remove postings and/or to block users.

With regard to third-party content or user comments, we comply with the applicable laws. Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction
