Growing up in the picturesque coastal state of Goa, I consider myself fortunate to have experienced life in a place deeply intertwined with nature. Our quaint villages and cities boast incredible ecological diversity, with captivating natural spectacles unfolding at every turn.

Preserving this wealth is paramount to us in Goa, and it's been integral to my work at the Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts. Since our establishment in 2009, we've been dedicated to using artistic expression to highlight the significance of Goa's natural and cultural heritage. Sunaparanta has transformed into a hub for creative exchange, fostering discussions on how we can contribute to a more conscious and sustainable world.

Artists, I believe, possess a unparalleled mastery in navigating our world. They offer unique perspectives and insights, shedding light on philosophical and psychological aspects of navigating a society marked by technological progress and environmental challenges. They serve as both disruptors and catalysts for change.

We're thrilled to collaborate with Green Stories and eagerly anticipate engaging with emerging filmmakers from South Asia and beyond. Together, we'll explore our relationship with the environment and seek new forms of harmonious coexistence with nature.
